Please note the following items impacting your use of Ecco. If you have questions or need assistance please submit a Help Desk Ticket at:
New User Accounts
When requesting a new Ecco User for your agency, please follow the process outlined in the How to Set Up a New User Account Article posted on the NCTTA Helpdesk. It is very important to email the NCTTA (email@example.com) or submit a trouble ticket. We also encourage and provide personalized New Ecco User Training provided by NCTTA Staff. In addition, if you have staff member who no longer needs access to Ecco, please inform NCTTA Staff as soon as possible.
Please use Microsoft Edge or Safari to support your Ecco use. Note that Google Chrome is not supported at this time and is strongly being discouraged from being used.
Synar (and other) Data
Use the Synar Merchants Report that can be found under Plan and Report in Ecco (then click on Reports) to confirm and verify Synar Merchant Data being entered. NCTTA recommends confirming your data quality periodically. Don’t wait until your data is all entered to check your work. Of course ensuring high quality data entry across all interventions is important and reports that can be found in Ecco are of great help.
New Index of Ecco Reports Published!
The purpose of the Index of Reports is to assist users of the Statewide Prevention Tracking system in locating, using and interpreting program data entered into Ecco. Ecco reports are a powerful mechanism driving verification of user data, quality improvement, and assisting in the preparation and implementation of the Statewide Audit Processes.
Access this new resource on the TTA Help Desk Page under the ECCO Section. View the Ecco Recports Webinar from October 16, 2019 via this link.
October Bug Reports
Please let NCTTA Staff know if you experience issues in using Ecco. The major issues being tracked during October related to Ecco Navigation is the inability to scroll vertically on the Synar Merchant Tracking Page. If you have this issue and only able to see one Merchant Location, avoid using Google Chrome and Microsoft Explorer. Windows users should use Edge as their browser with MacOS users relying on Safari. Also it is best practice when having technical difficulty with Ecco to clear your browser cookies and cache.
